FAQ

Is there a wait list?
Currently the wait for a trial day is about a week. Feel free to schedule one!

Do you separate little dogs from big dogs? What is the weight limit?
We separate them by size and energy level. There's 2 groups, Big dogs and Little dogs. Bigs is for the big high energy dogs that want to run around and wrestle all day. Little's is for either little playful pups, Old dogs that usually want to sniff and take naps, and puppies.

Do you rest them after meals?
Yes. There is a 1 hour rest period for Breakfast and Dinner, and a 2 hour rest period for Lunch.

What does their day look like?
6:30 am is breakfast and when we start taking daycare dogs for playtime. Overnighters get a rest period to digest their food and come out at 7:30am. Playtime lasts until 12pm when we do an all at once naptime, so nobody is doing jealousy barks. They are kenneled for the naptime. Lunch is at naptime if they need it. Naptime ends at 2pm and they get to go back to playtime. Dinner is at 3pm. Overnighters go back to the playgroups at 4pm and get to play until bedtime at 6:30pm.

How big are the kennels?
Most of them are 4ft x 4ft but we have both bigger ones (8ft by 4ft) and smaller crates depending on preference.

I just registered and it says my dog's vaccines are out of date!
Please give us 24 hours to review them and get them in the system. Feel free to call if you need to schedule something urgently!

What is the registration process?
We have our paperwork here
Please contact us for a trial day! We will have you fill out the paperwork, tell us about your dog, and then schedule a trial day.

What is the trial day?
The trial day is just a regular daycare day, but we introduce the dogs slowly at first. We'll have them sniff around an empty yard, then bring in dogs to greet one by one so it's not super overwhelming, then they can just play as usual. I will ask for you to be available for a potential phone call for the duration of their first daycare just in case. Try to make it as normal of a day as possible so they know what to expect next time! Trial days can also be shortened for separation anxiety, or for other reasons. Each dog is different and we don't mind being flexible.

What are the requirements?
They have to be older than 4 months, or 17 weeks. After 6 months we require them to be spayed/neutered. They need to have all their vaccines completed, Rabies, the Distemper combo, and Bordetella, and be up to date on them. They have to be in good health and be okay to be in a playgroup with other dogs.
